Wednesday morning tradition...

Every Wednesday morning, Dusty leaves for work extra early so the boys and I head to Miracle Mart for a donut and bottled water...see below:

The bottled water goes in Wilson's "water bottle holder" on his bike, which goes to school for "Bike Day"! If I leave early enough, we get to drive through Oak Park while eating our donut:) It's always tricky getting the geese to move off of the road through the park though...must be a warm spot for them.

Friday Night Fun!

Our kick-start to a very busy weekend...Friday night BBQ with the Leake Family! Wilson LOVED playing with Caiylin and Elayna, and Drew liked watching all of the extra action. We dined on mexican inspired appetizers and later moved on to pulled pork sandwiches with beans and fruit...yummy!
Drew: "YOU'RE KIDDING ME...I weigh MORE than you and you're TWICE my age?!?!"
Elayna: "Yeah, that sounds about right."

Drew: "Mom, how did this happen??"

Oh well, let's play!!

And play....

And play some more...

This is a great night!!

After dinner, the Thompson family came over so that Oliver could play with the girls. Oliver is our new neighbor and he's 2 1/2. What a sweet, sweet little boy!

We were also lucky enough to see Brandon and Lisa and Mike and Jared later in the night...

8 AM on Saturday morning came much too early for everyone except Drewbie. Dusty and Brandon were in charge of donuts and a spot for the parade and we met up with them as soon as it started.
I forgot our camera (and many other things), but it was a big day of FUN for all of the boys! The parade had around 230 floats and we made it to somewhere around 100 before the kids were bored. From there, we went to the NDSF for some rides and barn animals!
Both boys slept at Gramma Sandy's on Saturday night so that we could meet the Price's at #10 for dinner. We had to be at Mike and Stacey's by 10 pm for our role in Mr. Anderson's movie (http://www.nodakfilms.com/) and it was a blast!
Sunday was spent cleaning up the mess shown in the above photos;)
GOODNIGHT!
